Women Stories

I grew up in an unstable home. My mother had three marriages by the time I was 10 yrs. old. I never saw my real father. We moved every two or three years, with no stable school or home. I had difficulty in making friends for that reason. My grandmother basically raised me since my parents were always busy. She instilled good Christian values in me. She took me to church and I learned about Jesus; but I never had a change in my life. I was just going through the motions.

I was the oldest of four children, the only child of my biological dad. He and my mom were married for one year. Mom remarried again when I was two to a man who had four children. They then had three children together, making a total of eight. It was a lot of responsibility. I went to Catholic school from 1st to 4th grades. Then mom divorced her husband, packing up one day and leaving while he was at work. I then switched to public school. I got in a lot of trouble there. As children, we were at the house a lot by ourselves with no established family life.
Tiffany’s Story: Self-Forgiveness
“Night of Horror” - a young man, a mother-to-be, a successful woman and her choices all collide on one fatal night in 2003. What happened next?
“The next thing I remember is waking up in a hospital bed with my parents looking over me. I was told I’d been in a crash and killed a 21-year old girl. I was horrified; there must be some mistake. I would never ever hurt anyone, I’m a good girl.”
