ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF CHRISTIAN INN Christian Inn Ministries in a year serves approximately 16 women in-house and about 50 non-residents for about the same cost as one inmate in an institution per year. Success rate of women staying clean and sober for two years or more is 72%. Since the home has been open, the ministry has served
approximately 112 women in the house (with about 2/3 of them still doing
well), and probably an equal amount outside of the home, either in jail,
on the streets, or in detox centers. Dozens of women have obtained the
new life they sought. Mothers have been reconciled with their families,
women have gotten their own apartments, been freed from years of drug
addiction, gotten good jobs, and almost all of the women in the program
has an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ during their stay. |

PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENT Christian Inn Ministries provides an opportunity for female ex-inmates to experience their own achievements during their stay at the Esther House. A secure home and loving environment is provided while residents rebuild their lives through Bible study, daily prayer, life skill classes, and inner-healing sessions. HOW WE'VE GROWN In February 1993, an idea became a reality as
Christian Inn Ministries began with a monthly newsletter. Throughout 1994,
1995 and 1996 volunteers ministered to inner city grade school children
at Vacation Bible Schools and weekly after school Bible clubs. Also a
weekly reading class was provided. |
